Consultant Psychiatrist (Camhs)

THE POSITION
As a
Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist , you will:
Deliver diagnostic and consultative specialty services in psychiatry.
Contribute to teaching, research, quality improvement, and administrative activities.
Play a pivotal role in shaping the future of mental health care for children and adolescents.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide high-quality clinical management and treatment for patients.
Maintain professional standards and foster an academic environment.
Actively participate in teaching, research, and quality improvement initiatives.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will have:
Registration or eligibility for specialist registration with the
Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) .
Fellowship or pending Fellowship with the
Royal Australian New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP)
or equivalent specialist recognition.
Completion or near completion of the
Certificate in Advanced Training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (RANZCP)
or equivalent (desirable).
