Consultant - Planning Engineer

Aker Solutions in Dyce, Aberdeen are looking for an experienced Planning Engineer to support a debottlenecking contract.This role has been determined as outside of IR35.Responsibilities:Provide Planning advice and expertiseDelivery of the project schedules and baselines for the project work scopesMaintenance of the project overall planning requirementsEnsure all relevant project procedures are applied as requiredMaintenance of overall project schedules for progress and man-hour expenditurePreparation and issue of all planning status and the impact of changes in the scope of work and provide recommendations to the project line managementContribute to planning reviews across the Aker Solutions network to assure complianceUpdate and maintenance of the Integrated Work Management System, ensuring system integrity at all times.We think you should have:Excellent communication skills, ability to communicate effectively and professionally.In depth understanding of the oil and gas industryHighly competent user of industry standard planning tools (e.g. Primavera P6) / systemsDemonstrable knowledge and understanding of project planning, systems and tools within the following areas:Turnkey EPC projectsLarge brownfield modificationsMinor brownfield modifications and term contractsFront End StudiesOperations and Maintenance Planning
