We are currently seeking General Medicine Consultant Physicians to join our team at Rockingham General Hospital. Applicants with dual training in subspecialty are welcome to apply. This is a recruitment pool for sessional, casual, permanent full time, permanent part time, fixed term full time, and fixed term part time appointments, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.
As a General Medicine Consultant Physician you will:
Lead the multidisciplinary team to provide specialist medical services to patientsPromote patient safety and quality of careProvide leadership, orientation, training, supervision and education, where relevant, for doctors in training, Health Service Medical Practitioners and other health workersIn collaboration with the Head of Department and other Consultants, work to achieve national, state and SMHS performance standards and targetsWork within the scope of clinical practice as defined and recommended by the SMHS Area Medical Credentialing Committee.See attached Job Description Form for details and selection criteria.
