Unit/Division: Fiona Stanley Hospital - Gastroenterology
Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is a 783-bed tertiary hospital offering a range of health services including the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer centre, purpose-built mental health unit, maternity, paediatric and neonatal services, and the State Adult Burns Service.
FSH also delivers specialised services such as heart and lung transplantations and hyperbaric medicine.
We are currently seeking a Gastroenterology Physician to cover endoscopy lists and the hepatology clinic.
This is a Sessional appointment at 10 sessions per fortnight (0.50 FTE) for twelve (12) months.
Hours may be negotiable.
This fixed term appointment is to cover parental leave.
About the Role As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will provide specialist medical services to patients.
You will promote patient quality and safety and provide leadership, training, supervision, and education, where relevant, for doctors in training, Health Service Medical Practitioners, and other health workers in collaboration with other Consultants and the Divisional/Clinical Director/Head of Department.
You will work within the scope of clinical practice as defined and recommended by the Health Service Credentialing Committee.
