About the Role This is a Permanent Part Time position at 4 sessions per fortnight (0.2 EFT) within the Department of Endocrinology & Diabetes.
You will be responsible for the provision of excellent clinical care for children and adolescents with endocrine conditions and diabetes. This role has an inpatient (ward cover) component and an outpatient component, which may include outreach clinics.
What you'll achieve: Promote and maintain exemplary standards of clinical practice in an inpatient and outpatient contextProvide supervision and support to junior medical staff (Fellows and SRMO), and training and education to the department's staff and medical students.Actively participate in team meetings and educational activities within the department.Your skills and experience: Experience in Paediatric Endocrinology at Consultant levelFRACP or equivalent College FellowshipKnowledge of RCH EMR, IT systems and policiesOther requirements: Specialist Medical Registration with AHPRACurrent National Criminal Record Check, or willing to obtainValid Working with Children CheckCompliance with RCH's "Staff Immunisation - Prevention of Vaccine Preventable Diseases" procedureApplication process To apply, you will need a resume and a tailored cover letter outlining your skills, experience, and suitability for the position in line with the requirements of the position description.
