We are seeking an experienced Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist to join a regional hospital that serves a vibrant community in Western Australia.
About the Role:
You will provide comprehensive obstetrics and gynaecology services, working alongside a team of specialists, registrars, and General Practitioner Obstetricians (GPOs). As a key leader in the department, your role will include overseeing patient care, teaching medical students and junior doctors, and contributing to clinical governance and policy development.
The hospital is accredited for training by the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG), and you will play a pivotal role in supporting the education of future specialists.
Key Responsibilities: Provide specialist clinical care in obstetrics and gynaecology.Lead and mentor a team of junior doctors and medical students.Collaborate on clinical governance, policy development, and service improvement initiatives.Participate in an on-call roster shared with fellow specialists and GPOs.About the Region:
