The Role and Hospital Hervey Bay Hospital is seeking a highly skilled individual who is driven to make a difference to patient welfare.
The ICU department operates from an 8 bedded mixed medical/surgical unit with CICM level 2 capabilities (paediatrics level 1).
The service is one of the busiest in regional Queensland.
Echocardiography training, paediatric experience and simulation skills are desirable.

A new state of the art Emergency Department opened its doors in January 2019.
The new ED has 46 treatment spaces in total, including 37 emergency bays, three isolation rooms, a safe assessment room and five procedure rooms – more than doubling the department's capacity.
Requirements Applicants should be registered (or eligible for registration) as a specialist with the Medical Board of Australia and Fellowship of the College of Intensive Care Medicine of Australia and New Zealand (FCICM) or equivalent as an overseas trained specialist who has completed their training in either the UK, Ireland, Canada, USA or New Zealand.
