A call-out to Traffic Engineers who are enthusiastic in working on city-shaping strategic transport planning, public transport and active transport planning projects.Suited to individuals who have strong collaboration, analytical and communication skills, and enjoy working on a broad range of multidisciplinary transport infrastructure projects in today's dynamic environment.What will you do?Joining our Integrated Transport and Mobility team in Perth, this position will see you assist on a variety of key infrastructure projects and create valuable solutions to shape WA's transport planning infrastructure and pipeline. You will be joining a dynamic and diverse team of individuals with local and international experience. Together, we create holistic transport solutions to unpack WA's transport future.
Here are the key things you will do to 'bring ideas to life':Assist in the delivery of services in traffic assessment and design, transport modelling, capacity analysis, strategic transport planning, integrated land use planning, public transport operations and city mobility planning.Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and broader Aurecon teams across ANZ.Build effective and enduring relationships with other teams in the region and other Aurecon offices.Work with your peers to shape the future of our transport networks and infrastructure.Bring your innovative transport solutions to life.What can you bring to the team?You will come to us with:
You are passionate about transport and making better cities through innovative thinking and providing sustainable transport solutions to support the team and our clients.Willing to learn from eminent industry experts in the Traffic Engineering, Modelling and Transport Planning.Tertiary qualifications in Traffic Engineering, Civil Engineering, Transport Planning, or a related discipline.Knowledge of traffic engineering standards, using traffic modelling applications and data analysis.Ability to shape traffic impact assessments with consideration to active transport modes and green travel plans.Exposure to or experience using SIDRA, AutoCAD and undertaking swept path analysis (desirable but not required).Strong interpersonal skills to support the Integrated Transport and Mobility team.Inclusive attitude and mindset to be a team player and contribute positively towards the current team culture and skillset.Want to know more?You can learn more about what it's like to work at Aurecon by visiting the careers section of our website.
