(pro rata)+ superannuation and salary packaging Temporary from 1/1/25 up to 9/7/25 and part-time working 7.5 hours per week About the Role As a Consultant Cardiologist with the CALHN Cardiology Unit, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality, safe, and patient-centred care. Your expertise will contribute to our mission of delivering best-practice clinical services for patients both within our care and those referred to our team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in advancing our coronary interventional program, with a focus on complex coronary disease and chronic total occlusions, ensuring that we maintain excellence in patient outcomes.
Beyond clinical care, you will also support the growth and development of our service by engaging in research, teaching, and training activities. Your contributions will help shape innovative service delivery and create an environment of continuous improvement. This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, guiding the next generation of cardiologists while fostering a culture of excellence and learning.
About You Clinical Excellence : Demonstrated expertise in cardiology, including fellowship in coronary and advanced coronary intervention techniques, with a strong commitment to maintaining high professional standards. Leadership & Communication : Proven skills in supervising research students, strong interpersonal abilities, and effective communication within a multidisciplinary clinical team. Team Collaboration : Flexible, cooperative team player with a focus on quality patient care and adaptable to changing clinical environments. Continuous Improvement : Experienced in quality improvement, research, and system enhancement, with knowledge of best practices, policies, and protocols in cardiology.
