Our contaminated land and environmental advisory team continues to grow, and we are seeking an Environmental Consultant to support current and future projects in the infrastructure, government, aviation and defence sectors.
About the Role
Our primary focus is to provide solutions for complex projects. We see you playing a key role in:
Contributing to the continued growth of Nation Partners through developing and sustaining strong relationships, understanding our clients' challenges, and delivering projects successfully.
Delivering targeted, pragmatic, innovative and effective solutions to help our clients solve their most difficult challenges.
Contributing to winning and delivering environmental and contaminated land investigation, remediation and strategic advisory projects, working with technical peers and within supportive, multidisciplinary teams.
Leading and managing tasks for environmental projects and site-based contamination investigation and remediation works.
Undertaking analysis and interpretation of contamination and environmental data, and drafting clear and concise technical reports and deliverables.
Proactively seeking advice and feedback to support your development, and making good choices for yourself, the team, the business, society, and the planet.
Contributing to Nation Partners' core values of using business as a force for good (B Corp), care, courage, and clarity, leading to business improvement and care for the planet.
Desired Skills and Experience
About You
To succeed in this role, you will:
Have an appreciation of contaminated land assessment and management, and related legislation, guidance, tools, and processes. Prior work experience in the field is desirable.
Be able to self-manage and prioritise the delivery of multiple tasks and high-quality deliverables to meet project deadlines.
Love working collaboratively within integrated teams.
Possess excellent writing skills, including a demonstrated ability to draft technical documents in a clear, concise and logical manner.
Have strong interpersonal and communication skills and be able to confidently manage interactions with colleagues, clients and stakeholders.
Have a relevant Tertiary degree in the fields of environmental engineering, environmental science, or similar.
Enjoy working outdoors and have experience collecting field data, measurements, and samples.
Be committed to safety and wellbeing, ideally with experience working on active / construction sites.
