Position Profile: We are seeking to establish a pool of skilled and suitably experienced people for the role of Consultant Health in Virtual Environment (HIVE) to lead the Health in a Virtual Environment (HIVE) multidisciplinary team to provide specialised services to patients, in particular monitoring and interacting with specialised remote monitoring applications and processes, maintaining the integrity of the associated systems within scope of practice, and providing medical support and management as required to the patients enrolled in the service. Promotes patient safety and quality of care.
In this role you will provide leadership, orientation, training, supervision and education, where relevant, for doctors in training and other health workers. In collaboration with the Head/Deputy Head of Department and other Consultants, you will work to achieve national, state and EMHS performance standards and targets. The Consultant HIVE works within the scope of clinical practice as defined and recommended by the EMHS Area Medical Credentialing Committee.
