Consultant - Engineering

The Role We have an immediate need for a Consultant in Sydney with outstanding Engineering skills, a valid security clearance and experience in the Defence Industry.

This Service Delivery role sits within our Maritime Sustainment segment, where you will provide engineering advisory consulting services to our clients. While consulting experience would be great, we can help you to develop those skills if you haven't consulted before.

Our Ideal Candidate You are experienced in technical planning, system integration and verification and validation activities. If you have delivered these types of services in, or to, CASG or other Defence clients in the past, we would love to have a chat.

As a Defence consultancy, we also need you to be an Australian Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a AGSVA Security Clearance.

Required skills and attributes include:

A Bachelor or equivalent level qualification in Engineering (Aerospace, Systems, Mechanical / Mechatronic, Hydraulic or Electrical) Experience in Engineering processes, preferably in a Defence environment High level of emotional intelligence and humanistic Great listener, excellent communicator and dedicated A proven track record of delivering quality outcomes Having these other abilities would also be awesome (but not mandatory):

Experience in the One Defence Capability System (formerly known as the Capability Life Cycle) Defence maritime sustainment experience Knowledge of the defence industry and the ASDEFCON suite Above the line support directly to the Commonwealth
