Peel Health Campus is a general hospital located in the City of Mandurah, 75 km south of Perth, known for its stunning beaches and waterways. Originally opened in 1988 as the 32-bed Mandurah District Hospital, it now operates with 206 licensed beds.
Role Overview: This position leads the multidisciplinary team to provide a high standard of service delivery and medical outcomes to patients within the emergency medicine services. Responsibilities include:
Promoting patient safety and quality of care.Providing leadership, orientation, training, supervision, and education for doctors in training and other health workers.Collaborating with the Head of Emergency Medicine and other Consultants to achieve performance standards and targets.Contributing to the development and implementation of innovative strategies for operational performance and resource management.Working within the scope of clinical practice as defined by the SMHS Area Medical Credentialing Committee.Eligibility: To be eligible for a permanent appointment to the Western Australian public sector, you must be an Australian citizen or have permanent residency status. For fixed term appointments, you must provide evidence of your entitlement to live and work in Australia.
