The Hospital is undergoing significant capital works, including an expected helipad, to meet the increasing demand for high-quality clinical services within the Southwest of WA. We are seeking dynamic FACEMs to join our cohesive ED team and who will be significantly based in the SW WA region. There are opportunities for career development with process design, teaching, and improvements in patient transport. We enjoy a close relationship with the Rural Clinical School of WA.
Several of our current FACEMs have appointments at the RCS. Applicants who expect to achieve FACEM within a limited time frame may be considered.
Salary package - MP Year 1 – 9 $360,328 - $457,961 per annum*
*Includes Arrangement A base salary $296,757—$385,515 p.a., a 10.00% employer contributed superannuation, and a professional development allowance of $30,814 p.a.
In addition, this position has access to salary packaging up to $19,000 p.a. with flexible leave arrangements.
THE HOSPITAL The Hospital is a 135 bed public facility which opened in 1999, it is the biggest hospital and health care complex in regional Western Australia. It delivers health care to more than 80,000 of the region's local residents as well as visitors.
