Your primary responsibilities will focus on providing an advanced standard of clinical care including assessment and treatment services to children and young people up to the age of 18 yrs who present with mental disorders, alcohol and other drug and emotional and/or behavioural issues, including those being treated under the Mental Health Act (2016).The role will include providing services to rural communities and supporting the Child and Adolescent Court Liaison Forensic Mental Health Service. Additional responsibilities include supervision and teaching of junior medical staff and medical students and clinical governance activities. Participation in the after hours on-call roster is also a requirement of the role, during which time you will be required to provide services to consumers across the full age range.Relocating to Australia?
