Consultant Cardiologist (Locum Basis)

Cardiologist - Locum basis Opportunity to work in Mackay, Queensland as a Consultant Cardiologist at a well-established private cardiology clinic of over a decade. Ideal for the professional wanting to escape the hustle of the city to the relaxing tropical Mackay region.
The clinic has an extensive network of referring doctors in the region and a loyal patient base. We offer on-site specialist cardiac consultation and non-interventional investigations including echocardiography, exercise stress echocardiography, ECGs, Holter Monitors, and 24-Hour Blood Pressure monitors.
The candidate will work alongside a cardiac sonographer, cardiac nurses, and administrative staff. The role does not entail on-call shifts, hospital work, or interventional cardiology procedures.
Position details: Patient consultations Participate in Exercise Stress Echocardiograms Reporting echocardiogram, Holter, and ABP Renumeration: 55% share of gross income per day. Approximate daily earnings $2000 - $3000.
Travel and accommodation are covered.
Locum period: 3 days per month or when required.
Applicants must: Be registered as a Medical Practitioner with AHPRA and have rights to work in Australia. Have a Medicare Provider Number for the provision of specialist services in Australia.
