Seeking a consultant anaesthetist for a general hospital anaesthetic department with a broad scope of anaesthetic practice in the public sector located in a region with an excellent lifestyle, from scenic hiking spots to great schoolsPosition Highlights
full time permanent employment contract with a leading public sector healthcare organisationtheatre complex consists of seven operating theatres, but current expansion will make that nine theatres plus use of a theatre at a private hospital.hospital has a closed 6 bed Level 2 ICU (soon to be expanded to 8 beds) providing a high standard of general intensive care, including complex multi-system support (invasive mechanical ventilation, cardiovascular monitoring and support, renal replacement therapy). It is a mixed unit, admitting medical, surgical, trauma and paediatric patients.Anaesthetic Department is staffed by 26 specialist anaesthetists, 8 registrars and 6 senior house officers.
