Your Role in Our Team We're searching for a Construction Works Supervisor who's ready to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in. You'll be leading the charge on key construction and maintenance projects across the Barcaldine Region, ensuring that community infrastructure hits the mark.
Your responsibilities will include:
Overseeing construction and maintenance duties to enhance community infrastructureEngaging in road maintenance/construction activities, including traffic control and manual handling tasksLeading a team by promoting safe working practices and maintaining a collaborative environmentDeveloping strong relationships with stakeholders while ensuring exceptional customer serviceAre You the Right Fit? Minimum of 4 years of experience in civil construction and/or maintenanceProven supervisory experience in construction worksCurrent Queensland Construction Safety Induction Card (White/Blue Card) or equivalentValid Australian Driver's LicenceExperience and relevant certifications for operating road construction plantCertificate III in Civil Construction and prior experience with Local Government are desirableYour ability to manage a team effectively, solve problems creatively, and maintain a strong focus on safety will be critical to your success in this role.
