The Role Make a difference in our community!
The Construction Surveillance Officer is responsible for the construction surveillance of all civil infrastructure associated with the construction of private subdivision developments to ensure works are constructed in accordance with approved plans, relevant Council standards, the Engineering Design and Construction Manual (EDCM) and industry standards.

About You Ideally you will have:
Comprehensive knowledge of general civil construction techniques, methods and procedures relating to roads, drainage and various other civil infrastructure assets.
Strong understanding of detail design documentation.
Highly effective interpersonal skills.
The capacity to handle a demanding workload.
Adequate computer skills.
The ability to work positively in a strong team environment.
Experience in Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD) construction (advantageous).
