THE OPPORTUNITYWe are seeking a Construction Supervisor to join our team in working across the Greater Adelaide region on a full-time, ongoing basis. As a Construction Supervisor, your primary focus is to manage a portfolio of home builds from site start through to the final inspection and maintenance stage. Reporting to the Regional Building Manager, some key accountabilities of this role include:
Coordinate and manage trades, establish a reliable trade baseBuild strong and ongoing working relationships with clients, trades, and key stakeholdersEnsure correct building practices and procedures are adhered to at all timesEnsure quality homes are built within set time frames and budgeted guidelinesEnforce and adhere to OH&S regulationsDay-to-day management of trades on site, suppliers, completion of paperwork, and other admin tasksWeekly KPI reportingWHO YOU AREIdeally, we're looking for someone who has:
Experience supervising residential home builds, residential construction experience and/or a strong trade background (but more importantly, an eagerness to learn and be a part of a cohesive team)A thorough understanding of Australian building regulations, WHSE regulations, and Quality Assurance (QA) systems (mandatory)Have completed the General Construction Induction Course/White Card (mandatory)Hold a valid driver's licence (mandatory)Solid project management skills, including experience in managing and developing a trade networkAble to effectively communicate with a diverse customer group, including what it means to deliver excellent customer serviceAnd just as importantly, an eagerness to learn and be a part of a supportive team.WHY JOIN US?Aside from a fantastic opportunity to join one of Australia's leading ASX listed residential builders, Simonds can offer you:
