We support the LPG/LNG, Fertilisers andChemical plants at our Kwinana operations (production of gas, solidand liquid products) and seek to maintain a centre of technicalexcellence through the professional development of our people. About theOpportunity: This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your existingknowledge and advance your career in supervision and implementationof projects within WesCEF's chemicals, energy and fertiliserfacilities. You will gain broad exposure in diverseoperations while seeing the impact of your recommendations in sounddecision making. We are seeking to fill a construction supervision role. Reporting to the Project Manager - Engineering, you will beinvolved providing construction inputs in design, supervision ofconstruction teams and contractors across a portfolio of projectson site, through completions and Ready for Start-Up (RFSU). This is a role where maintaining strong collaboration withbusiness stakeholders, contractors and project teams will beessential to success. Your key responsibilities will include: Manage construction teams and contractor on sustainingcapital projects to assure safety and quality in siteimplementation, in line with scope, budget and scheduleobjectives. Work closely with team members and stakeholders toestablish and grow effective business relationships withclients, employees and external parties Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders within acomplex landscape to enhance and implement continuousimprovement in the project construction and completionsframework; Demonstrate commitment to HSE and drive a positive culturewithin teams of safe working on site that responds proactivelyto safety and environmental issues. About you: You are a skilled construction supervisor with significantexperience in brownfield, project delivery in operations such asmining (fixed plant), chemical manufacturing, production /processing plants. You have demonstrated ability to superviseconstruction on significant brownfield, debottlenecking projects;including: Trade certificate (Mechanical fitter and/or E&I trade– preferred). Minimum of 12 years' trade experience, supervisingconstruction teams and contractors on projects within themining, chemical or mineral processing industries. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawing andstandards. Working experience of using standard software e.g.Microsoft Word, Excel etc. including any computerisedmaintenance management software (CMMS). Experience with supervising teams of employees and/orcontractors. Well-developed leadership and influencing skills and aproven ability to drive a high performance team culture byleveraging company values. Familiar with major CMMS and/or ERP systems (preferably JDEdwards and Oracle EBE). Desire and commitment to working in and managing teamswithin a strong safety and environmental culture on site.
