What you'll do
Coordinate, plan, and manage construction projects across the Woolworths portfolio.
Liaise with key stakeholders and be accountable for safety, time, cost, and quality often in an operating store trading environment.
Minimise project impacts on performance in our stores on both renewal and new store projects.
Ensure project lifecycle is delivered on time and to budget to the latest store design kit.
Engage with multiple stakeholders including renewal managers, equipment project managers, construction and refit teams, contractors, and shopfitters.
Manage the financial position of projects including cost reporting, forecasting, and variation management.
Oversee construction, attend construction meetings, finalise contracts, and arrange agreements between all parties.
Overall management of all appointed contractors for construction, including site safety and resolving all on-site issues.
Undertake timely project closeouts, carry out built quality inspections, and manage financial matters.
What you'll bring
Strong experience in Construction Project Management in an end-to-end capacity.
Experience in a variety of environments - retail supermarket environments, property, etc.
Strong understanding of construction management methodology & principles.
Qualifications in Construction Management or a construction-based trade background is an advantage.
Previous experience managing or mentoring a team - desired but not essential.
Flexibility to travel to regional locations (WA, SA, and NT) for site meetings & inspections.
Construction industry white card & driver's licence.
