Construction Project Manager

Anstie Constructions (Tas) Pty Ltd specialise in architectural and commercial construction projects across Northern Tasmania. We are currently looking for a Project Manager to join our busy Launceston team and lead delivery of a variety of construction projects.
We are seeking someone who is self-motivated and highly organised, with excellent communication skills and attention to detail. This position would suit someone who has experience in commercial construction, but this is not essential.
About the role: Undertake the planning, organisation and administration of projects including coordination of subcontractors and materials; Lead project teams in the delivery, completion and reporting of projects; Implement OHS systems and maintain compliance; Manage and maintain client and stakeholder relationships; Utilise project planning and project management tools; Report directly to the Construction Manager; Initial training for this role will be provided to the successful applicant.
About you: Relevant qualification and experience in carpentry and/or project management within the construction industry; Understanding of residential and/or commercial construction processes and ability to interpret technical drawings and plans; Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; Exceptional organisation and time management skills to undertake planning, action and follow up; Competent computer skills including the Microsoft Office suite of programs and the ability to learn new systems; This is a long-term, full-time position offering a competitive salary and company vehicle.
