The Construction Project Manager will oversee and coordinate all aspects of construction projects under the EssilorLuxottica banner, from inception to completion.
This includes effectively planning, organizing and controlling the work of the Design & Construction department for refurbishments, new builds, or fit-outs for Sunglass Hut, Oakley, OPSM, and Laubman & Pank stores across Australia and New Zealand.
This role involves travel within Australia as well as overseas travel to New Zealand, some of the travel requires staying overnight for more than one night.
Requirements for Success Preparation of project budgets and estimations based on the approved architectural drawings and documentationReviewing actual construction spends against forecasted amountsReviewing tender documentation and awarding building contractsCoordination of required building permits, inspections, and certificatesManagement of store teams, external vendors, operations team, and site-specific stakeholders throughout fit out processAttending builder handovers and defect inspections and ensuring all defects identified are closed out within allocated timeframesRead & review detailed drawings, understand construction plans and fabrication methodsOrganize and coordinate deliveries of project materials and furnishingsSkills & Experience 2 years' experience in a Project Management position ideally within the Retail IndustryStrong prioritization and time management skillsAbility to make decisions, independently and in line with our company policyPro-actively seeks continuous improvement methodsPrevious use of SAP highly regarded, strong Microsoft Excel skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks, projects and functions simultaneouslyStays informed of industry trends competition and changing technology, putting new knowledge, understanding and skills to use of the jobTo be considered for this opportunity, please click apply and send your cover letter and resume today.
