Position Available: Project Manager (Building & Facades) About the Role: We are excited to announce the creation of a new position within our building division in Queensland: Project Manager (Building & Facades).
This role will be instrumental in managing and delivering multiple building and façade projects valued up to $5M in Brisbane and the surrounding areas.
This hybrid role will require time at our Brisbane office in Eagle Farm, QLD, as well as on-site presence.
Key Responsibilities: As a Project Manager in our Building & Facades division, your primary responsibilities will include: Overseeing the development, review, and management of projects, ensuring adherence to OH&S, Quality & Environmental standards, cost control, and client/consultant relationship management.
Providing proactive leadership and management of on-site safety performance, standards, and risk.
Ensuring day-to-day quality management and developing quality procedures per project specifications and Australian Standards.
Offering technical advice and demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
Establishing and maintaining programme and project cost control, with an emphasis on labor utilization and efficiency.
Building and maintaining effective relationships with clients, managing daily interactions.
Preparing accurate monthly reports, progress claims, and subcontractor statements.
Procuring and managing subcontractors and material suppliers.
Administering contracts and managing commercial risk in accordance with the DOA.
Preferred Experience: Proven experience in Residential / Commercial projects with exposure to façade, waterproofing, or concrete corrosion repair works.
Experience in scaffolding, mast climbers and other access solutions Experience with remediation works (Carbon Fibre Concrete Repairs / Strengthening).
Strong subcontractor and stakeholder management skills.
Qualifications / Experience: A degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
A minimum of 5 years' project management experience in the Building & Façade Industry (Australia).
Experience in one or more of the following areas: ACP Recladding, Glazing, Façade Upgrade, Concrete Corrosion Projects.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite programs.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
