Construction Project and Business ManagerResponsibilities:Managing Group practices & strategiesManaging & Implementing Systems & Accreditations, ensuring that these systems are continually reviewed and assessed to ensure company and legislative requirements are met.Coordinating labour resources, and procurement and delivery of materials, plant and equipmentNegotiating with building owners, property developers and subcontractors involved in the constructionSuccessful integration between the five businesses under the Trend Group – Trend Building, Trend Civil, Trend Urban, Trend Maintenance, Trend Pools.Ensuring that all safety, quality & environmental standards are metOperating and implementing coordinated work programs for sitesOverseeing the standard and progress of subcontractors' workArranging building inspections by local authoritiesManaging & co-developing business plans with a focus on strategic growth detailed in the short, medium and long termResponsible for growth & positioning of new staff, creating new teams and being responsible for the teams' success.Regularly reviewing performance and developing team members and providing appropriate feedback.Identifying training requirements and skill gaps for team members and ensuring appropriate training is identified and received.Managing tendering for head contracts, including preliminary pricing, competitive tenders and contract negotiations necessary to finalise the contract.Reviewing construction contracts to ensure consistency between the head contract, sales contract, brief, market positioning & marketing collateral.Working closely with the other members of the executive team to ensure the continuous improvement of the business and for the development and implementation of strategic operational plansManaging and leading teams, providing a supportive, dynamic & cohesive environment for all team membersDeveloping an employee growth model, ensuring that new employees are provided with training, coaching & mentoring to ensure maximum performance feeding into succession plans for career development that address individual aspirations.Performance Objectives:Ensure projects are completed under budget.Ensure exceptional client service, and all projects are completed on time.Achieve zero lost time Health & Safety incidents.Execute operational duties and provide training as required.Qualifications and Skills:Proven experience in project management, ideally in the field of Construction.Strong organisational and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficiency in computer programs for client management.Commitment to safety and compliance with Health & Safety standards.If you are ready to take on a growing role in a dynamic environment, contribute to exciting projects, and ensure the success of our contracts, we invite you to apply today.
