THE ROLE The Construction Procurement Partner (High-rise Redevelopment) is responsible for providing specialist procurement advice and support to ensure procurement is run in an efficient and compliant manner.
The Big Housing Build just got bigger, and a Construction Procurement Partner is required to lead and support critical procurement activities to drive value for money outcomes for the whole of government whilst maintaining compliance with relevant legislative and policy obligations.
Are you: A proven procurement leader with a strong track record achieving best value for money outcomes in procurement within the construction, property development or government infrastructure sector?An expert in government procurement legislation and requirements?Looking to apply your commercial acumen and strategic thinking to design fit-for-purpose streamlined procurement processes on Australia's largest urban renewal project?ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE Engage and advise key internal stakeholders on policies, procedures, systems and standards to enable delivery of effective, outcomes-focused procurement activities across the program within legislative and regulatory requirements.Provide subject matter expertise on government policies such as Local Jobs First, Social Procurement, etc.Establish and maintain tendering, purchasing and contract development and management processes and systems that are rigorous, transparent and have credibility with all stakeholders.COVID-19 VACCINATION
