We are building our team and are looking for a highly experienced Construction Manager who possesses the expertise to plan construction projects and oversee their progress along the way in a timely and cost-effective manner.
As a Construction Manager You Will Be Responsible For: The day-to-day management of the construction arm of the business and overseeing and directing construction projects from conception to completion. Coordinating all site construction activities including the management of construction supervisors and subcontractors. Reviewing the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs. Overseeing OH&S and all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations. Meeting contractual conditions of performance. Reviewing the work progress on a daily basis. Preparing internal and external reports pertaining to job status. Planning ahead to prevent problems and resolving any emerging ones. Analysing, managing and mitigating risks. Ensuring quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques for delivering work on time and on budget. Ensuring that the completed work meets the high quality standards of Singh Homes. Skills And Experience: To join this amazing team, you'll also possess the following:
Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Construction, Engineering or related field. Construction Management experience or equivalent, with demonstrated experience in management and leadership of supervisors and tradesmen in the domestic construction sector. Demonstrable experience with site safety management and people management. Sound knowledge of OHS regulations. Demonstrated record of compliance with quality work standards. Must have proven experience in supervising construction projects; this role allows for a great utilisation of previous skills and experience.
