About the Role :
As part of our growth, we seek a Construction Manager. This is a permanent, full-time role, based on site at various locations around WA.
This role is a combination of office and site-based activities with travel to regional areas in WA.
Working with the Project Managers, in-house Design Team, Project Engineers, Site Supervisors and Trades staff; the Construction Manager is responsible for leading the delivery of projects from concept to handover in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner;
with a quality focus and adherence to company policy, customer expectations and project specifications.
The Construction Manager may lead their own projects or report to a Project Manager as a key resource on larger projects.
As our ideal candidate, you will :
Have extensive experience in a similar role in construction, preferable the water industry
Have solid construction industry knowledge
Hold a Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor qualification
Have a Diploma in Project or Construction Management
Have a Senior First Aid Certificate and a White Card General Construction Industry Training Card
Have an ability to effectively lead and manage teams of people coupled with an ability to manage competing priorities and meet strict deadlines
Be Self-motivated with strong communication skills
Have well-developed problem-solving skills
Have a strong safety and quality focus
Have an ability to influence others while making sound decisions
