We also offer energy efficiency solutions for both public and private clients.The position will report to the Ferrovial Energy Director in Australia, who is building a team to deliver the growth plans in the country.MISSIONThe Construction Manager will play a pivotal role in the successful implementation of Ferrovial's EPC Energy business plan in Australia. This role is crucial for navigating the growth plans in the Australian market, particularly in securing a Transmission and/or Renewable Generation Contract for 2025. The position aims to enhance local market knowledge and support the future stages of EPC contract development in Australia.FUNCTIONSProject Management: Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle from tender to delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.Construction Leadership: Lead and manage large construction teams, driving the execution of project delivery strategies to ensure successful completion.Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, procurement, and logistics teams to facilitate seamless project execution and address any challenges that arise.Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and coordination across all project phases.Compliance: Ensure all project activities comply with local regulations and Ferrovial's standards for safety and quality.Reporting: Provide regular updates to the Managing Director of Ferrovial Energy in Australia on project progress, risks, and opportunities.REQUIREMENTSEducation: A degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.Certifications: Relevant certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) and safety (e.g., OSHA) are highly desirable.Experience: Proven track record in managing large-scale construction projects, particularly in the energy sector.Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of EPC contracts and the Australian market, with a focus on Transmission and Renewable Generation.Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate diverse teams to achieve project goals.Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of addressing complex project challenges.Flexibility: Willingness to travel and adapt to the dynamic needs of the project and the business.
