About the role With EPC, Construction and Maintenance projects and clients growing, we are looking for a customer and delivery focused Construction Manager who is proactive in delivering on our client's expectations.
You will work closely with all internal and external stakeholders and maintain the dynamic team culture at Verbrec.
You will be exposed to clients across mining, water, oil & gas, utilities, renewables, defence and other local industry projects.
This role, reporting to the General Manager, forms part of the local leadership team responsible for developing the business strategy, culture and performance across the South Business Unit.
As a Construction Manager you will be responsible for:
Electrical construction activities completed safely, on time and budgetInput into electrical construction portions of EPC tendersDeveloping and managing strong client relationshipsManaging electrical construction and maintenance teams and sub-contractorsAbout you You will be focused on developing a successful career alongside a passionate team with a good work and life balance.
Your experiences will display:
Previous Construction Manager experience in a similar positionPrevious supervisory experience within the resource industryPrevious experience in managing electrical subcontractorsUnderstanding of Project Management principles including Contract managementDemonstrated budget managementA Class SA electrical licence is preferred but not essentialWhite CardManagement of eCOC regulatory requirementsSolution-focused, practical, functional problem solverStrong sense of ownership and accountability of workAbility to manage and build client relationshipsApplicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirementsThe new Verbrec brand represents our evolution and continued growth by leveraging emerging techniques and technologies for the benefit of our clients.
