Take charge of planning, managing, and coordinating the integration, supervision, and commissioning of site construction activities.
Ensure every project milestone is met safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards and specifications.
In this role, you'll be at the heart of driving successful project delivery, shaping a safe and efficient construction process from start to finish.
Your responsibilities will include but aren't limited to: Ensure all supervised construction activities comply with WHS legislation and Aurizon's HSE standards.Contribute to design, constructability, and planning during project pre-execution phases.Develop and implement each project's Construction Management Plan, including SWMS and risk assessments, to meet legal and Aurizon requirements.Identify, procure, and manage necessary resources, coordinating with RSD and assisting with contract scope and procurement including scheduling and coordinating direct trade-based personnel in support of construction activities.Oversee on-site construction through pre-start briefs, supervision, inspections, and audits; ensure work meets design; manage defect identification and rectification; ensure As built design Drawing Redline mark ups, ITR and ITP quality assurance are delivered.As required, contribute to the planning and execution of Network Closures, in which construction activities are carried out.About you: With an engineering or engineering trade background and over 10 years of construction experience, including 5 years in a supervisory role, you bring extensive knowledge of railway and infrastructure construction.
A Construction Management qualification is preferred, along with strong written and verbal communication skills that enable effective engagement across functions.
