As the Construction Manager , you will ensure the safe and high-quality delivery of large-scale, complex infrastructure projects within the approved scope, time, and cost metrics. You will meet safety, customer, community, environmental, and construction standards. In this role, you will support project managers, manage technical information, and be responsible for achieving financial, time, and quality targets.
This role will spend time on site managing technical aspects of construction activities; hybrid working arrangements available.
This role will deliver real outcomes, including but not limited to: Safety leadership throughout the project delivery phase Actively support the Project Manager in planning and coordination of all construction-related activities Manage all technical information with design service providers and installation service providers Coordinate with project managers on all material-related issues on site Management of project and delivery partner quality assurance and compliance to agreed quality standards through regular inspection, auditing, management of NCRs, and reporting Contributes to the assessment and management of project and network risks and opportunities, including ensuring project constructability, operability, and maintainability Accountable for ensuring design compliance on technical deliverables of the projects including ensuring safe work procedures are practiced throughout delivery of projects. You don't need to check every box; however, we are looking for a good combination of: Electrical Trades certificate preferred VESI training required to perform High Voltage electrical construction works AusNet Network Authorities are preferred Proven experience in High Voltage electrical infrastructure construction management Strong technical skills Construction quality management skills Safety leadership Ability to coordinate with construction and commissioning workforce on site Understanding of safe work methods and ability to review them A real place to belong
