This role will work where required across the metropolitan area performing various duties under the management and guidance of a highly experienced Manager.RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead and manage day-to-day operations, including planning, variations, scheduling, and resource allocation.Supervise, coach, and mentor employees, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous learning.Monitor metrics and KPIs to ensure targets for quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery are consistently met or exceeded.Implement and optimise lean construction principles to drive process improvements and cost reductions.Develop and manage the operations budget, closely monitoring expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.Drive growth and identify new areas for expansion.Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure quality and compliance with industry standards and regulations.Collaborate with the People and Culture team to recruit, train, and develop a skilled workforce capable of meeting goals.Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:Must be trade qualified in your occupation or trade.Must have experience in all aspects of construction management, including facilitating the transition of projects from design to construction.Must have good knowledge of financial management procedures relating to project planning, resource allocation, budgeting, cost management, and reporting.Must have contract management experience.Must have experience with construction contract documentation, including the management of contractual variations.Financial capability e.g. P&L analysis.Excellent project coordination skills.Superior computer literacy (Outlook, Word & Excel) and familiarity with Microsoft Project.If you want a challenge and enjoy coming to work, then this is your chance to become part of our dedicated team of professionals.Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.
