You will actively provide leadership and guidance to construction crews, as well as coordinating day to day operations, managing budgets and planning / scheduling of work.This role is based at Direk, but our team is often working away from Adelaide on project construction sites.
Rosters vary depending on the requirements of different projects, and as Construction Manager you will be required on site for part of a swing (and in some cases all of a swing), so some time working away from home should be expected (overtime at double time and travel allowances apply).Reporting to the Manager Substation Construction, responsibilities of this role include: Planning, managing and delivering allocated projectsManaging WHS, Environmental and Quality systems for the work group and subcontractorsProviding leadership, communication and supervision to all employees and subcontractorsManaging key customer and stakeholder relationships to ensure that the agreed services are delivered in a timely mannerPlanning and coordinating the works allocated and managing the overall performance of the work group, including in productivity, financial, employee commitment, customer service and compliance.About youYou will bring:Leadership experience in heavy industrial electrical infrastructure construction projects, including installation of High Voltage equipment and systemsSpecific experience in the construction of substations and/or renewable projects is highly advantageousA Current SA Electrical Trade Certificate or Current SA Electrical worker registrationA Current South Australian Drivers LicenceAs part of the recruitment process you will need to undergo a pre-employment screening, including a medical and police check.Help us shape a brighter futureAt Enerven, we want our work to make a difference.
