Description: Overview of role: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Construction Manager to oversee the on-site execution of the first phase of the extensive upgrades to the Bendigo Water Reclamation Plant. This pivotal role will ensure that the project aligns with Coliban Water's objectives and technical standards, while adhering to budget, timeframes, quality expectations and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities:Manage all site operations, ensuring project activities are completed on schedule, within budget, and to specification, without disrupting the ongoing operation of the plant.Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with legislation to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.Coordinate construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient use of resources and timely delivery of project milestones.Monitor construction quality and promptly address issues to uphold high standards.Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, managing expectations and providing regular updates on project progress.Maintain accurate documentation, including reports and records, to support effective project management.Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure successful outcomes.Ensure environmentally responsible practices are followed to support Coliban Water's sustainability goals.About You: To be successful in this role, you will bring proven experience in construction management, with a focus on water infrastructure projects or sound knowledge of water treatment plant operations. You will have a strong track record of delivering projects on time, within budget and to the required quality and safety standards. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain a collaborative and safety-focused work environment. Salary: The salary and conditions for this position will be as per the Coliban Water Enterprise Agreement 2021 Band 5, $115,162- $139,851 salary range will be offered to the successful candidate commensurate with their skills and experience.
