BrisbaneLegalProjects, Infrastructure & ConstructionFull timeThe roleWe are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Litigation Lawyer to join our Projects, Infrastructure & Construction group. This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a successful candidate to receive comprehensive training and development to build a successful career in this specialised field. Key Responsibilities:Collaborating with partners on construction mattersConduct legal research and analysis on construction law issuesPrepare legal documents/contractsParticipate in client meetingsAssist in resolving disputes related to construction contracts, project delays, defects, and other issuesStay updated on the latest developments in construction law and related regulationsTo succeed in this role, you will ideally have:A passion for the construction industry1-3 years of post-admission general litigation experienceExcellent academic record with strong technical legal skillsCommitment to excellence, attention to detail, and delivering high-quality outcomes for clientsAbility to effectively manage time, handle competing tasks, and work to tight deadlinesStrong verbal and written communication skillsTeam player with a supportive and collaborative working styleSelf-motivated with a "can-do" attitude and eagerness to learn and grow your career with Piper AldermanAbout The TeamThis practice group has been described in Best Lawyers in Australia for their experience in construction / Infrastructure Law.
