Job Description We have one of the world's leading litigation and dispute resolution practices specialising in complex, multi-jurisdictional litigation, international arbitration and regulatory investigations around the globe. Our team in Australia is one of the country's leading litigation and dispute resolution teams and has overseen many of the most complex corporate cases and arbitrations in the market in recent years. Our team is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Litigation Associate / Senior Associate to join our dynamic team in Perth. The successful candidate will work on a variety of complex construction disputes, providing high-quality legal advice and representation to our clients.
Key Responsibilities Manage and advise on a range of general commercial litigation and arbitration matters with a focus on construction/infrastructure, including contract disputes, defect claims, and professional negligence.Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other court documents.Represent clients in court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings.Collaborate with other team members and departments to provide comprehensive legal solutions.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry practices.Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring excellent client service. Qualifications Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 6+ years of post-qualification experience in construction / infrastructure litigation.Strong academic background with a degree in law from a recognised institution.Proven experience in handling complex construction disputes.Excellent analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills.Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Commitment to delivering high-quality legal services and achieving the best outcomes for clients.
