The Firm & The Role
Our client is a long established commercial law firm and their construction team has an overflowing pipeline of work. Due to new instructions, the firm is looking to recruit a construction lawyer with at least 3 years pae.
The senior partner who heads this team is an excellent mentor and leader and this role will see you working closely with them. A flavour of the work will include major construction litigation, building defects litigation, SOPs, adjudications, complex engineering disputes, arbitrations, mediations, claims re delays and liquidated damages, construction variation claims. There will also be some front end work.
This role would suit the construction litigation lawyer who wants to take a career defining step in their career or the experienced commercial disputes lawyer who wants to pivot into a construction litigator role.
About You
The ideal candidate will:
Have at least 3 years pae in the area of construction litigation, gained from a reputable law firm
Or have general commercial litigation experience and want to gain construction litigation experience
Have the ability to work under pressure and juggles competing deadlines
Have the ability to work in a collaborative team environment
Have energy, drive and enthusiasm
