About Us Hitachi Construction Machinery (Australia) Pty Ltd is a leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment.
The Opportunity Hitachi is actively seeking a highly motivated individual to join the team in the position of Construction Equipment Leading Hand for our brand new, state of the art Forrestdale site. Reporting to the Construction Equipment Supervisor and Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for planning, organising and supervising the Perth Construction Equipment Build operations to meet customer requirements, while working closely with the Supervisor and Co-ordinator to achieve department budgets and allotted KPI's.
As a key member of the team, you will also be responsible for:
Maintain work schedules to ensure efficient utilisation of equipment and resources.Be responsible for the day-to-day activities of workshop personnel and ensure labour is used most effectively.Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders pertaining to customers, machine performance, product workmanship, and warranty.Ensure HCA employees and contractors comply with all WHS responsibilities and that a safety-first culture is a consistent behaviour within the department.To be successful in this role, you will have:
