Job Summary:
As Construction Equipment Administrator, you will support report preparation, forecasts, equipment inventory requirements, and keeping supervisors informed on progress.
You will assist with monitoring work quality, equipment requests, entering inspection data and repair orders, and reviewing, validating, and storing data.
Your work will contribute to ensuring tools and equipment are in safe condition and operated safely.
Major Responsibilities:
Ensuring accurate data entry of repair work orders into Project Equipment Management Systems (PEMS) as required, hour meter readings as well as entering additional data from incoming/outgoing inspections.
Reviews and validates data in Project Equipment Management Systems (PEMS).
Scans and stores all necessary information in the database.
Generates utilization and other reports for site equipment team.
Complete requisitions for repair and maintenance parts requests.
Collaborate with BEO team members.
Other responsibilities as designated.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Requires 2-4 years of related experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Demonstrated knowledge of Construction equipment – Types of equipment and equipment components.
Previously worked in equipment workshop environments.
Prior use of Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
Microsoft office suite – Excel intermediate to advanced.
A flexible team player who enthusiastically collaborates across our teams.
Excellent inter-personal and communication skills.
Proactive, independent and takes responsibility for work.
Ability to multitask, while being highly organized and juggling multiple work streams.
Additional Information:
This position has responsibilities that include exposure to changing environmental, construction, and operational conditions, which may include: extensive walking in and around an active construction and/or operations site, climbing ladders, working at heights from work platforms including scaffolding, and mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs), use of personal fall arrest equipment, walking and working on uneven surfaces, working in constricted and/or confined spaces, variable work shifts (e.g., day, night, weekends, 1st, 2nd, 3rd shift, etc.
), and work in inclement weather.
Some lifting may be required.
Candidate must be able to use standard issued Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required for each assigned task (i.e.
respirator, harness, life vest, hearing protection, etc.).
The Pluto Train 2 Project is a Major Hazard Facility meaning this is a non-smoking site and no tobacco products – i.e.
cigarettes, vapes, lighters, tobacco - are permitted to be brought to the site.
This position is available to both local and non-local personnel.
For non-locals (FIFO/DIDO), the working roster is 3/1.
