CONSTRUCTION COST ESTIMATOR / TENDER LEAD An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Estimator to join Prefab1 Pty Ltd, a young but growing company well known for its integrity and excellence in construction. As a part of our team, you will estimate a range of projects from fit-out and refurbishment to large-scale construction ventures.

As we continue to expand operationally and in our Project pipeline, we are eager to welcome a skilled Estimator to join the team for an immediate start.
Your responsibilities will include analysing construction documents, specifications, proposals, and other pertinent documentation to formulate estimates for time, cost, and labour. Collaboration with key stakeholders is essential to ensure the delivery of cost-effective plans that uphold superior quality standards.
In this role, you will interact with clients, consultants, contractors, and our internal team to measure and estimate both negotiated and competitive tenders. Further to this, you will work closely with the senior management team and, in particular, the managing director.
Duties and Responsibilities Prepare all tenders from initial lead to completion and submission including all supporting company documentation as required. Read plans and prepare quality take-offs as required. Maintain and update the estimating cost database. Consult with clients, architects, subcontractors, and material suppliers to discuss and formulate estimates, effective cost reductions, and resolve issues. Manage and track multiple tenders simultaneously. Build and maintain productive current & potential client relationships. Build and maintain productive sub-contractor & supplier relationships. Handover of successful tenders to Project Managers & Site Supervisors providing full brief on estimating process. Support the Project Managers teams as needed during the procurement and delivery of all successful projects. Contribute to an effective and productive team. Represent the company professionally. Requirements Estimation experience - at least five (5) years. Professional communication skills. High attention to detail. Previous experience with commercial construction. Building trade qualification helpful. Highly capable with Microsoft Office suite and estimating software - in particular Simpro or Cheops. #J-18808-Ljbffr
