Joss Construction specialise in commercial and industrial projects across NSW, VIC and the ACT.
Working alongside the Project Manager and Estimating team to support the growth and development of the business, we are searching for a Contract Administrator to join our growing team, to undertake administrative duties associated with construction projects, ensure accurate estimates of projects are completed on time, tender preparation and assist in project delivery across our contracted areas.
Key responsibilities Assisting with tender documents for submissionCompleting take-off for constructions estimatesPreparation of scopes of workNegotiating and letting subcontractsProgramming and managing variationsProcuring materialsLiaising with consultants, submitting and closing out RFI'sAssisting with client progress claimsApproving subcontract progress claimsAdministration of subcontractor and supplier contractsPreparation of site documentation for construction certification.To complement recent construction related experience, the ideal candidate must have: Sound knowledge of construction plans/drawingsAn ability to organise and prioritise work whilst maintaining a high attention to detailExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAn ability to meet deadlines and stay focused under pressureAn ability to offer constructive solutions and improvements.A relevant tertiary qualification in Construction/Engineering Discipline (or current studies towards a qualification) would also be advantageous.
