Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Construction Administrator & Scheduler to join our clients' growing team. This role involves supporting the Operations Manager and Senior Supervisors in scheduling construction crews and managing machinery across various sites in QLD, NSW, and VIC. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organisational skills, with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.
Key Responsibilities Support multiple construction teams with administrative tasks and schedule machinery and staff allocations. Program and record machinery maintenance, maintain machinery prestart repairs register, and manage internal machinery recovery. Ensure compliance with the Internal Management System (IMS) and assist in safety and planning meetings. Arrange employee training, maintain staff training records, licenses, certificates, and VOC registers. Advise on and assist with booking construction accommodation and travel requirements. Coordinate the onboarding process for new employees, including inductions and drug & alcohol testing. Use Assignar for scheduling, manage client portals, maintain IMS documentation, and ensure WHS&E compliance. Raise purchase orders, support general accounting tasks, and provide ad-hoc assistance to the construction team. Requirements: Minimum of 4 years' experience in Construction Administration. Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and equipment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to construction sites.
