The Opportunity
In line with our growth and commitment to the safety of our employees, we are seeking a High Voltage Operating Authority (HVOA) Manager to oversee and manage the competency of high-voltage electrical operations across multiple projects.
As CPP's HVOA Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing our HV electricians, approving switching sheets, and authorizing the re-energization of equipment.
You will work closely with project teams to ensure that all high-voltage activities are carried out safely and efficiently, following strict compliance with safety policies and procedures.
Desired Skills and Experience About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
Recipient in Charge permit holder Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience Strong decision-making skills with the ability to make critical judgments regarding high-voltage operations and able to clearly justify your actions.
Familiarity with Electrical Safety Acts/Rules and Regulations applicable to Australian States.
Strong knowledge of HV substation operations and maintenance.
Experience in preparing HV switching programs, permits, and protocols.
