This is an opportunity to contribute to Koala conservation through challenging development assessment, complex negotiations, and undertaking compliance and enforcement activities. You will be part of a small multi-disciplinary team responsible for:Providing technical advice on the impacts of development on Koala habitat in SEQ.Conducting both assessment and compliance activities.Providing technical advice on how developments can retain and protect Koala habitat and maintain safe Koala movement opportunities.The successful applicant will be highly motivated, with demonstrated skills in regulatory assessment, planning and/or compliance, and the ability to develop and maintain effective collaborative relationships. Knowledge and experience in Koala ecology and project management is highly desirable.Minimum Requirements:A university degree in environmental management, environmental or biological sciences, conservation, natural resource management, urban design, town planning, or a related discipline, and an unrestricted manual driver's licence are mandatory requirements for this role.
