Due to exponential growth and the acquisition of a new project, we are seeking an eager and passionate Project Coordinator to join and grow with our high potential Construction team!
Expectations of the role: Assistance and coordination of residential construction processes Facilitation of procurement Helping with delivery and programming Preparing and coordinating tender and contract documentation Assisting with negotiations, variations, and contract administration Scoping up works and analysing trade breakdowns Coordinating meetings with subcontractors, teams, and stakeholders (and occasionally taking minutes) Assisting with the financial management of projects Managing QA, defects rectification and close-outs Assisting in the preparation of development programs, budgets, cash flow projections, etc. Monitoring and reporting on works in accordance with the agreed delivery program Work closely with suppliers, including those based in China, to request quotes, negotiate prices, and arrange deliveries. Assist in preparing and processing purchase orders, ensuring that all orders align with project requirements. Monitor stock levels, report shortages, and assist in reordering materials to support project timelines. Review and match supplier invoices with purchase orders and delivery records, ensuring accuracy for payments. Maintain organized and up-to-date procurement records for easy access and audit purposes. Minimum Requirements: Proficiency in Mandarin/Chinese 2-3 years of residential construction experience Relevant Construction Management or Engineering tertiary qualification CHEOPS experience is preferable Strong communication, analytical and negotiation skills Good understanding of project management within the construction industry (residential) Understanding of specifications and drawings for accuracy and buildability Good grasp of MS Office, including Project, Word, Excel and Outlook Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
