Anglicare provides the Housing Connect Front Door Service acrossTasmania. Housing Connect is the entry point for assistancefor people who are experiencing homelessness or are in housingneed.

About the Role:
We are seeking a community services professional withexpertise in assessing individual circumstances and connecting themwith the appropriate opportunities available to them. Thisrole requires good people and problem-solving skills.
To be successful you will have: Expertise in conducting assessments that consider aholistic understanding of the person's circumstances totailor the response.A high level of initiative and problem-solving skills withthe ability to identify opportunities and community servicesystem pathways for the individual.Ability to develop and sustain relationships across thecommunity service system.Understanding of Tasmania's current housing marketand the difficulties facing people on a low income trying tosecure housing.Experience in working collaboratively within amultidisciplinary team.Demonstrated time and workload management skillsHigh-level written and verbal communication skillsincluding the ability to maintain accurate, professional casenotes.The Connection Coach: Undertakes the initial and comprehensive engagement andassessment process for people seeking assistance with HousingConnect.Provide information and advice and address immediateneedsCoach and support service usersFacilitate people's access to specialist services and otheropportunities, networks and resources.What we offer you: an attractive salary of $85,264 to $89,354not-for-profit salary packaging available that can increaseyour take-home paya 7% Graduate Loading payable where you hold a degree in arelevant discipline;a friendly and supportive work environment.If you are interested in applying for the position now pleaseclick 'Apply'.
