Civil Engineer - Secondment to Major CSG PlayerAbout the Role:Secondment to a major player in coal seam gas development.
Urgent start, 12-month project with potential for a further 12-month extension.
Pay rate to attract the right candidates.Position Purpose:To provide critical Project Engineering inputs to manage activities and deliverables that are fundamental to delivering the Surat Gas Project execution phase supporting Infrastructure.
Likely a few days, once per month travel to the Dalby region.Ideally, we are looking for experience as follows:5-10 years in the construction, mining, and/or oil and gas industriesDelivering road scopeDelivering general civil scope and infrastructureMonitoring schedules and costsExperience in risk mitigation to enable timely project deliveryManaging contractorsWorking to Australian StandardsWorking within a multidisciplinary teamSolid proven knowledge of risk management techniquesGood computer and software applications skillsContract Management Accountabilities:Support Infrastructure works as assigned by the Lead Project Engineer.Execution of Geotechnical Survey, testing and collection of data to inform design & engineering.Laydowns, Mobile Drill Camp Pads, and Warehouse planning and design.Laydowns, Mobile Drill Camp Pads, and Warehouse construction and handover.Construction water infrastructure and water availability for construction.Quarry development and management for construction material.Support the delivery of Road upgrade Engineering and Construction packages.Schedule, cost and estimate, and constructability reviews.Please call on 0406 537 706.
