We are seeking a Configuration and Data Management Specialist for a role like no other.
Working in a high security environment, this newly developed and hands on role will work at all levels to lead and implement CM processes at our Darwin site.
You will be making a meaningful contribution in supporting the capabilities of our National Security Community customer, the Australian Signals Directorate (ASD).
Responsibilities Manage the control, protection, transfer, retention and archival of secure and export-controlled data.
Develop, implement and maintain Configuration and Data Management processes and procedures in accordance with business and customer requirements.
Maintain and update document and drawings related configuration items in accordance with approved configuration and baseline changes, either directly or in coordination with SMEs.
Manage the accuracy and completeness of configuration status accounting records and administer program-specific configuration management tools .
Audit configuration items to verify conformance to functional/performance requirements and approved baselines.
Administer, host and perform the role of change focal for Configuration Control Boards.
Maintain contract related configuration items and prepare baseline change data for use in contract change proposals.
Lead the continuous improvement of processes for efficiency in accordance with LEAN principles.
Implement and maintain the controls necessary for data to meet security, trade control and intellectual property requirements.
Effectively interface with program team members and customers to support services delivered under the program.
Develop and deliver training on the program's configuration management systems.
Experience/Qualifications Demonstrated experience in Configuration and/or Data Management.
Working knowledge of Asset Lifecycle Management.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Proficient with Autocad and/or Visio.
(advantageous) Engineering, Technical, Trade or Quality Management background (advantageous).
Formal Configuration Management training / certification (advantageous).
Proficient with Atlassian JIRA and Confluence (advantageous).
Experience with Lean methodology (advantageous).
Eligibility Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Australian Government security requirements.
You will be required to successfully undergo an Australian Government positive vetting (PV) security clearance.
You MUST be willing to disclose all required information and MUST have the ability to verify your background for whole of life (i.e.
birth to present time).
